This Privacy Policy applies when you use Appskitani’s website, account features, AI-assisted tools, saved prototypes, community showcase and Brunei business directory. Appskitani is responsible for the personal information described here. By using the service, you acknowledge this policy and our Terms and Conditions.

Account information: your email address, account identifier and sign-in provider details when you create or access an account.

Content you provide: prompts, app ideas, prototype names and files, showcase submissions, votes, screenshots, business profile information, services, prices, contact details and messages you send us.

Usage and technical information: pages and features used, interactions, approximate location derived from an internet address, browser and device type, dates and times, referral information, diagnostics, security events and cookie or local-storage identifiers.

Public-source information: business details collected from public directories or websites for the Brunei directory. These may include a business name, category, district, address, public phone number, website and source link.

We use information to provide and personalise the service; authenticate users; save and retrieve prototypes; generate requested content; publish directory and showcase entries; operate voting and remix features; answer enquiries; maintain security; detect abuse; troubleshoot and improve performance; understand aggregate usage; comply with law; and enforce our terms.

Text you submit to generation features may be sent to AI service providers to produce the result you request. Do not include passwords, financial account details, identity documents, health records or other highly sensitive personal information in prompts.

AI output can be inaccurate. We do not use generated output to make legal or similarly significant decisions about users.

Showcase submissions and business directory profiles are intended to be public. Their titles, descriptions, URLs, screenshots, prompt templates, business contact details, services and pricing may be visible to anyone and indexed by search engines. Your private account identifier is not intended to appear in public listings. Avoid publishing personal information you do not want publicly available.

We share information with service providers that support hosting, data storage, authentication, AI generation, security, analytics and communications, under appropriate contractual or technical safeguards. We may also share information when you direct us to, when content is public by design, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business reorganisation.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for unrelated third-party advertising.

Appskitani uses browser storage and similar technology to keep you signed in, remember selections, store recent work, support security and maintain essential service functions. Some preferences or draft information may remain only on your device. You can clear browser data through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or remove locally saved work.

Depending on applicable law, we process information because it is needed to provide the service you request, because you consent, because we have legitimate interests in operating and securing Appskitani, or because we must meet legal obligations. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier processing.

Information may be processed in countries where Appskitani or its service providers operate. Privacy protections in those places may differ from those in Brunei. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials.

We retain account information while your account is active and keep other information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including security, dispute resolution, legal obligations and backups. Public submissions may remain until removed or corrected. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. Depending on applicable law, you may also ask us to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy of information you provided. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.

You can edit eligible business information and remove saved prototypes through available account controls. For other requests, email us. You may also complain to the relevant data protection or regulatory authority where you live.

Appskitani is intended for users aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a person under 16 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to remove it.

Appskitani contains links to coding platforms, showcased apps, business websites and other third-party services. We do not control their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.

We may update this policy as Appskitani changes. We will publish the revised date and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate.
